To put it in perspective, Sean Avery notched a career high of 28 points as a 24 year old. 30 points in an NHL season would be quite a milestone for the 22 year old, and quite a testament to his off-ice work ethic. After last night he has 12 points in 30 games and 71 penalty minutes. He's been putting up points in succession recently, and even though he's played all over the lineup this season, was playing with the second line last night.
